Carol Seeley began her career in education in 2000 and joined Poly Prep in 2008 as a Middle School math teacher and as an advisor for Grade 8 students. During her 11-year tenure, Carol continued to teach math in the Middle and Upper School divisions, became a dean for Grades 7 and 8, and eventually the Head of the Middle School, a position she held from 2017-2019. After leaving Poly in 2019, Carol served as Head of Upper School at The Town School in Manhattan from 2019-2023. She returned to Poly in the spring of 2024 in a new capacity as the school’s Academic Data Manager. A native New Yorker, Carol earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Connecticut College before finding her path as a math teacher. When not working, Carol enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, traveling, cooking, reading, and cheering on New York sports teams.
