Christopher Tutolo joined Poly Prep as a Middle School French teacher in 2021. After graduating from Penn State with bachelor’s degrees in French & Francophone Studies and International Relations, Chris spent a year teaching at a middle and upper school in France. He also worked in cultural programming at Alliance Française in Minneapolis/St. Paul. He earned his master’s in French Studies and a graduate certificate in Second and Foreign Language Teaching from the University of Washington in 2021. During the two years he spent completing his M.A., he also taught French language classes at the university. Outside the classroom, you can find him on his bicycle, on the tennis court, at a concert, or making music of his own. He has also been studying Modern Standard and Lebanese Colloquial Arabic since 2012.
