Matthew Sagotsky joined the Poly Prep community in 2021. Having conquered his dreams with a career in music; Matt sought to resume his passion for teaching chemistry when it was needed most. He is a versatile educator, having taught sixth grade, high school, and at the undergraduate level. He was previously a Faculty Teacher at the Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn Heights and also taught at Wesleyan University as both an undergraduate and graduate student. Matt has extensive experience as a scientific researcher at his alma mater Wesleyan and NYU Medical Center. Originally hailing from New York City, he attended Packer Collegiate Institute ‘06 and is familiar with the ethos and rigors of an independent school education.
