Meredeth Quick has been teaching in the Middle School at Poly Prep since 2010. Originally a Grades 6 and 7 English teacher at Poly, she shifted to teaching Grade 6 math, where she enjoys blending her passion for mathematics and love of reading and writing in the classroom each day. Meredeth has also had the opportunity to share her passion for the sport of squash at Poly, as she coached the Girls’ Varsity Squash team for nine years. Originally from Denver, Colorado, Meredeth moved to the East Coast for college and earned a bachelor’s in history from Princeton University, and later a master’s in elementary education from Bank Street College of Education. Meredeth started her teaching career in second grade at Packer Collegiate Institute and later moved to teaching fourth and fifth grade in P.S. 234 in Tribeca.
