“I come from a long line of teachers, including my mother as my Kindergarten teacher and my father as a law school professor. It’s in my genes and I’ve always loved children and wanted to be a teacher.”

Sarah Davies came to Poly Prep Lower School in 2008 as a Grade 2 homeroom teacher. She taught at several other New York City private schools prior to Poly Prep. She grew up in Philadelphia and earned a bachelor’s with a double major in religious studies and psychology at Connecticut College. She moved to New York City for graduate school at Bank Street College of Education, where she earned a master’s in early childhood and elementary education.
