Poly Prep faculty are lifelong learners. Stephen Bates earned a bachelor’s and a master’s at St. Joseph’s University on Long Island in 2014 and 2015, and earned his Doctorate in Learning & Teaching from Hofstra University in 2020. He teaches Middle and Upper School students, advises the Upper School Student Government, serves as a faculty representative on the Faculty-Staff Council, and helps coordinate the summer academics program. He also teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at St. Joseph’s University in mathematics and adolescence education.
